Four of a family commit suicide in Ahmedabad

Rajesh Unakar, 42, son of a retired DSP, his wife Vandana, 37, their daughter Khushali, 17, and son Bhasmang, 14, were found hanging in their house in Dharnidhar Villa Bungalow in new Naroda area.

Four members of a family committed suicide in Naroda area of the city today by hanging themselves, police said.

Rajesh Unakar, 42, son of a retired DSP, his wife Vandana, 37, their daughter Khushali, 17, and son Bhasmang, 14, were found hanging in their house in Dharnidhar Villa Bungalow in new Naroda area by their neighbours this morning, police said.

Neighbours informed the police about the incident. In the preliminary investigations police have found that the family took the extreme step due to financial debt, officials said.

Police have found a suicide note written by Rajesh Unakar.
