Four members of a family, including a six-month-old baby, were burnt alive when their hut was allegedly set afire by some persons over a land dispute in Gauriganj area here, police said today.
Four persons, including three women and a child, were charred to death when their hut caught fire in Annibaijal village in Gauriganj area late last night, deputy superintendent of police MP Singh said.
He said the father of three women killed in the incident Ramzan Ali has lodged an FIR against seven persons alleging that they torched his hut over a land dispute. "The matter is being investigated," he said.
