Four killed as bus plunges into stream in Kashmir

Four persons were killed and 20 others injured when a bus plunged into the Lidder stream on way to Pahalgam in south Kashmir's Anantnag district today.

The bus, on way to Pahalgam tourist resort from Bijbehara, skidded off the road and plunged into the stream at Langanbal, 80km from Srinagar, officials said.

They said four persons died on the spot while 20 others sustained injuries.

The injured have been taken to the Anantnag district hospital.
