Four injured in exchange of fire in Ghaziabad

According to SSP Raghubir Lal some children were playing cricket in Idgha ground last evening which was obstructed by members of the mosque and some others who were against children playing there.

Four persons, including a Delhi police personnel, were injured in a clash between two groups in which fires were also exchanged on the issue of playing cricket in the ground of a mosque in Muradnagar town, 20km from Ghaziabad.

According to SSP Raghubir Lal some children were playing cricket in Idgha ground last evening which was obstructed by members of the mosque and some others who were against children playing there.

Heated exchange led to clash in which fire was also exchanged.

Four persons, including a Delhi police sub-inspector, got bullet injuries and they were taken to hospital.

Five persons of both the groups have been arrested in connection with the incident, the SSP added.
