Four feared drown in boat capsize in UP

One person was killed and atleast three persons were feared drowned when a boat capsized in Gomti river in Khampur area of the district, a senior police officer said here today.
 
The incident occurred last evening when the boat ferrying seven persons, who were on their way to Tekari village, capsized near Gaurighat, superintendent of police L Ravi Kumar said.
 
He said that while three women were rescued by fishermen, four persons identified as Gurga Rajbhar (50), Satyam (9), his brother Malani (12) and Vindhyavasini Devi (53) drowned.
 
Body of Satyam has been fished out, he said.
