The army vehicle, which was on its way from Patnitop to Jammu, rolled down about 350-400 ft deep into a nallah at Dramthal on Jammu-Srinagar Highway this afternoon.
Five army jawans were injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge on Jammu-Srinagar Highway in Udhampur district today, a police spokesman said here.
The army vehicle, which was on its way from Patnitop to Jammu, rolled down about 350-400 ft deep into the nallah at Dramthal, about 75 kms from here this afternoon, he said.
The injured jawans have been rushed to Command Hospital Udhampur, he said.
