Fire broke out at rubber and chemical mill in Punjab

A fire today broke out at a chemical factory in Model House locality of the city, in which no causality was reported in the fire.
  
The fire was noticed in the mill situated in the State Bank colony near Model house and immediately workers of the factory rushed outside to save their lives, police sources said.
 
Several fire tenders were pressed into service and it took at least three hours to douse the flame, sources said adding that the fire took place allegedly due to short circuit.
 
Exact cause of fire and loss of the property was yet to be ascertained, sources added.
