Executive engineer on anti-corruption bureau scanner in Hyderabad

Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials today unearthed disproportionate assets worth over Rs50 lakh allegedly belonging to an executive engineer in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.

ACB officials conducted simultaneous searches at the residence of P Venkata Rama Krishna, executive engineer (Indirasagar Project) at Eluru, Hyderabad and at Jaggampet, which resulted in unearthing of disproportionate assets worth over Rs50 lakh, an ACB release said.

The searches revealed two plots, two flats, two houses, 3 acres agricultural land and house-hold articles, it said.

The executive engineer has been arrested and will be produced before the principal special judge for ACB cases in Vijayawada, the release added.
