Enterplexus-09 begins at EDI

The annual alumnus meet of Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI), Gandhinagar, Enterplexus-09, kicked off on Friday. The two-day event is expected to witness participation of more than 350 former students of the institutes who will share their experience and discuss different aspects of entrepreneurship. The theme of the meet is ‘T-Dimension (technological dimension), inventing business of tomorrow’.

On the first day of the event, Mukesh Bhandari, chairman of Electrotherm, gave some lessons on how technology can help mitigate the effects of global warming, pollution and similar other problems that are posing threats to mankind.

He said that any problem can be solved if people make right use of technology. He gave example of his own creation, ‘Yo bike’, which is eco-friendly. However, he said that for this purpose new and innovative entrepreneurship is required.

 Dinesh Awasthi, director of the institute, said that new ideas with right technology can do wonders.
