EMCON 2010 conference in Ahmedabad today

The 47th annual national ergomedicine conference, EMCON 2010 will begin from January 21. The theme for the 3-day conference  — 'Entrepreneurship in Occupational therapy' has been finalised by Dr S R Apte, who was instrumental in arranging the conference in Gujarat.

All India Occupational Therapists Association (AIOTA) and Ahmedabad Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) are jointly organising the conference. The occupational therapy will aid in the rehabilitation of physically or psychologically disabled persons thereby ensuring that the person is able to carry out his daily activities independently. Occupational therapists have helped many multinational companies in creating a barrier free and conducive work environment. The AIMS has been recognised by AIOTA and World Federation of Occupational therapists.
