Eight more dengue cases in Delhi, total 121

Dengue cases continued to rise in the city with eight more people testing positive for the disease today, even as authorities intensified fogging to check breeding of aedes mosquitoes, the carrier of the virus.

Dengue cases continued to rise in the city with eight more people testing positive for the disease today, even as authorities intensified fogging to check breeding of aedes mosquitoes, the carrier of the virus.

"Eight new patients tested positive for dengue fever. A total of 121 people have tested positive for dengue this season. We are carrying out fogging operations in all civic wards," MCD municipal health officer NK Yadav said.

A total of 77 dengue cases have been reported from MCD areas followed by 22 in NDMC areas and the remaining from outside the state.

Municipal authorities have issued challans to many residents and organisations for breeding of mosquitoes in their premises.
