The first dossier is about eight terrorists who were involved in the 26/11 Mumbai attack. Of these, five are on the wanted list and three are suspected to have taken part in the blasts, home ministry officials said. These terrorists have been identified as Muzamil Bhat, Abu Hamza, Abu Kafa, Usman, Sajid Mir, Hafeez Saeed, Major Iqbal and Major Samir Ali. Hafeez was the kingpin behind the Mumbai attack. The two majors, belonging to the Pakistan intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence, trained and mentored the people who took part in the attack.

India has sought access to question these terrorists in connection with the ongoing investigations into the attack. “We have provided the Pakistani delegation evidence about the involvement of these terrorists,” the officials said.

The second dossier reportedly pertains to another group of 24 terrorists, of which seven are Sikh terrorists operating from Pakistan. Some of them are Jagtar Singh alias Tara, Ranjit Singh alias Nita, Harminder Singh and Lakhbir Singh Rode.

The third dossier exclusively belongs to terror operator, Ilyas Kashmiri, who has planned attacks on important establishments in India, including Mumbai. Kashmiri is said to have mentored David Headley, the American man who ran a recce in Mumbai before 26/11.
