Dip in temperature brings relief

Cloud cover in the city has brought some much-needed relief from heat for Amdavadis. In the last five days, the city has experienced a dip in mercury level, from 37 degrees Celsius on October 4 to 34.4 degrees Celsius on Thursday.

With cloudy days because of monsoon withdrawal, not only has temperature level come down during daytime but evenings have also become pleasant, with cool wind blowing.
The change in weather bodes well for the people who were looking for respite after an uncharacteristically hot September. But for a sudden change in temperature, Diwali promises to be much cooler, at least weather wise.

Leena Dave, a resident of Bopal, says the change in weather is pleasant, as it gives relief from scorching heat. "Instead of sitting at home in AC now, I think we can think of going out and take a stroll in evening," she said. Local Met office has predicted mainly clear sky in the city.
