In the wake of the recent ruling of the Supreme Court against compulsory use of narco-analysis, brain-mapping and polygraph tests on suspects, Devendra Gupta had filed a revision petition on May 6.

A local court here today set aside decision to conduct narco and brain-mapping tests on Devendra Gupta, an accused in 2007 Ajmer dargah blast case.
District and session court judge Prashant Agarwal accepted prayer in the revision petition filed on behalf of Gupta and
set aside May 3 order of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM)
court granting permission to Rajasthan ATS to conduct the
tests on him, Gupta's lawyer Umardan Lakhawat said.

Gupta, suspected to have links with radical hindu group, was arrested by the Rajasthan Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on April 29 last from here in connection with the blast case.
