Cops take 3 hrs to file FIR for a threat

Rachna Thaker, a resident of Revti towers, in Satellite was made to wait three hours by the cops at the Satellite police station before she could register her complaint.

Rachna had gone to the Satellite police station to register a complaint on behalf of her husband, Hitesh Thaker who is in Mumbai .

Rachna's husband Hitesh was allegedly being threatened by one Yasin Shah.  On June 7 Yasin gave Hitesh Rs2 lakh for business purpose but he later demanded Rs5 lakh from Hitesh. This led to an argument between the two.

Yasin, who has a previous case of kidnapping and murder filed against him, then reached Thaker's residence in Ahmedabad and threatened his family. He was accompanied by a man who identified himself as the as chief constable of Sarkhej police station.

They then called Hitesh and threatened to kidnap and kill his children.  Hitesh soon contacted his wife and advised her to take the children from school to keep  them safe and file a police complaint.
