Cop among five held with fake currency in Jammu

Police has arrested five persons, including a police constable and a Jammu Municipal Corporation employee, and recovered fake currency of the face value Rs4,000 from their possession in Jammu city, police said today.

On specific information, police arrested five persons and recovered the fake currency from BC Road area of the city last evening, they said.

The accused have been identified as Varinder Sharma (police constable), Abdul Hameed (JMC employee), Majeed Hussain, Narinder Kumar and Rajinder Singh, they said.
