After terming alleged shelter being given by BJP-ruled states to bomb blast suspects associated with RSS as "Sanghi terrorism", Congress today went a step further asking the Sangh to come clean on reports of its leader Indresh Kumar's suspected ISI links.

"Media reports say that Colonel Purohit (now in jail in connection with the Malegaon blast) had suspected Indresh Kumar to be a mole of ISI who had received fake Indian currency to the tune of Rs21 crore from the Pakistani agency," party spokesperson Shakeel Ahmed told reporters in Delhi.

"Two years ago, an ISI agent arrested in Nepal had also named Indresh Kumar as one who was given money to help create Hindu-Muslim clashes in India. Why RSS is silent?  Why BJP leaders who take inspiration from them are silent? RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat says there is no place for radicals in RSS but merely making statements won't do. RSS should come clean on it," he said.

Taking a jibe at senior BJP leader LK Advani for his criticism of the government over the issue of black money, Ahmed said, "Advani and others very often talk of black money. Some discussion should also be held on fake money like this. The attention of the investigating agencies should be drawn to it."

Earlier, addressing a national seminar, senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh accused BJP state governments of sheltering people affiliated to RSS who are allegedly involved in bomb blasts.

"All those who are making bombs run away to Gujarat and they get shelter there... Swami Aseemanand settled there. Who gave his organisation the forest land? The governments of BJP give shelter to such elements. There is a need to keep an eye on them," Singh said.

A known detractor of BJP and RSS, Singh referred to a number of terror cases like Samjhauta Express blasts case, Mecca Masjid and Ajmer blasts in which members of some RSS affiliated organisations were arrested recently.

Training his guns on senior BJP leader LK Advani, Singh said that it was his rath yatra in the 90s which had instigated trouble in the Hindi belt of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

"Whenever BJP is weak, it takes up a communal issue. They would like to build a temple or hoist a flag only where there is dispute. Without dispute they cannot survive. Ramjanambhoomi issue was there for long, but they took it up in 1985 when their srrength in the Lok Sabha was a mere two," he said.

Referring to a reported statement of Advani, he said, "now I want to tell Advaniji every Hindu is not a terrorist. But why is every terrorist from RSS."
