CN college celebrates 50 years

Students and dignitaries gathered at the Physical Education College of CN Vidyalaya on Thursday to celebrate its golden jubilee year.

The college was established in 1961 by Padmashri Indumatiben Sheth. Municipal commissioner Guruprasad Mohapatra and deputy commissioner of police PC Baranda, who is an alumnus of the college, remained present at the inaugural ceremony apart from director of the CN Vidyavihar Tushar Purani and other dignitaries.  

Activities have been organised for six days to celebrate the occasion, he said. About 21 schools in the surrounding areas and 18 schools from the Ahmedabad district will participate in the events.
