Child falls into drain in Sultanpuri; drowns

A child today drowned in a drain near a hospital in the national capital, fire brigade officials said.

The child fell into the drain located behind Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Sultanpuri 'S' block at around 12:40 PM, police said.

The victim's body was fished out around 3 PM.

The incident comes two days after the drowning of four children in a pit dug by Delhi Jal Board in Timarpur area.
