Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar today described as 'belated' the centre's inclination to hold a joint parliamentary committee (JPC) probe into the scam related to the allotment of 2G spectrum.
"It is belated decision by centre on the JPC. But it is a matter of relief that the centre has finally conceded to the demand of the opposition," Kumar told reporters here on the sidelines of his Janata Darbar programme.
Had centre accepted the demand, the proceedings of parliament would not have been paralysed earlier, he said.
