Bomb hoax call for Sheila Dikshit's residence

An anonymous call claiming that a bomb was placed at Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit's residence created panic tonight, but later it turned out to be a hoax.

The call saying that explosives had been placed at the Moti Lal Nehru Marg residence of Dikshit was received at 8pm, a senior police official said.

Bomb disposal teams and dog squads were rushed to the spot which conducted searches at the premises but found nothing, the official said.

"We have found nothing. The call has been declared as hoax," he said.
