BJP would observe a three-hour chakka jam in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday to protest against alleged spate in crime against women, corruption in the government and poor law and order in the state.
The party will observe chakka jam and stop traffic movement between 11 am to 2 pm tomorrow to protest against poor law and order situation, rampant corruption and rise in cases of atrocities against women, senior BJP leader Vindhyavasini Kumar said.
The protests would be held at all district headquarters and in Vidhan Sabha constituencies and led by state leaders in their respective areas, he said.
However, party leaders and workers have been directed to ensure that students and patients don't face problems due to the protest, he said.
