Terming Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi as "immature", Madhya Pradesh BJP today said that there was no substance in the former's allegations against the RSS.

"We consider Rahul as immature and our party's spokespersons have already reacted to his reported statement on the issue of RSS," BJP MP, Rakesh Singh told media on the first day of two-day long state BJP executive meeting.

He was reacting to Rahul comparing RSS with banned outfit SIMI during his visit to Madhya Pradesh.

On the issue of alleged involvement of an RSS office bearer Indresh Kumar in the Ajmer bomb blast case, Singh termed the charges as baseless.

"On earlier occasions also, similar things were said about the RSS which are totally false," he said.

To a question on deteriorating condition of roads in the state, he said the issue of poor condition of national highways passing through the state was discussed during the meeting and chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan demanded from the Centre either to maintain them properly or denotify their status from national highway to the state highway so that they can be maintained in a proper manner.

About reports of BJP workers not happy with the in-charge ministers of various districts of the state, he said that no such issue was raised but they were advised by the party leadership to visit their respective districts as many times as possible.
