BJP speaks in a childish manner on security issues: Congress

Congress today attacked the BJP for its reaction to reports that India was planning to hold talks with Taliban, saying it was "childish" of the party to respond in such a manner.
    
"On sensitive issues, related to the security of the country, the BJP speaks in a childish manner. I wonder whether they are in national interest or not," party spokesman Manish Tewari said.
    
He was reacting to the BJP criticising the government over reports of planning to hold talks with the Taliban.
    
Tewari said till there is an official confirmation it was not proper to comment on the issue.
    
"The BJP has a habit of politicising everything... They should have waited," the spokesman said.
    
BJP spokesperson Tarun Vijay termed as "shocking" news reports that India was planning to hold talks with Taliban and demanded the government to come out with an explanation on the issue.
