BJP knows politics and money more than Congress: Digvijay Singh

Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh today said the BJP is the only political party in the country that understands money and politics very well.

"The BJP knows very well how to use money for politics and also understands how to use politics to earn money," Singh said in an informal meeting with journalists here.

In sharp contrast, the average Congressman does not understand money and politics that well, the general secretary said.

He said the Congressman is too busy thinking about the welfare of Dalits and the backward classes of society than spend time on thinking about money.

Singh said in a lighter vein that if the Congress came to power after the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, it might have to consult BJP to help the party earn more money.
