Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday said that the Congress may not be happy over the poll outcome in five states, but the BJP also has nothing to celebrate either.

"The Congress may not be happy but clearly the BJP has nothing to celebrate either #Elections2012," Omar on Tuesday posted on popular micro-blogging site Twitter.

Congress is an alliance partner with Omar's ruling National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir, while the NC is a partner of the UPA coalition at the Centre.

Omar's National Conference is an alliance partner with Congress-led coalition governments at the Centre and the state. As per results of polls in five states, Congress has received a drubbing in Uttar Pradesh, Goa and Punjab.

He further said that news channels are doomed to repeat their mistakes -- believing exit polls and calling election winners based on early trends from counting centres.

"Clearly the aftershocks of yesterday's tremor have only gotten worse in Delhi #Elections2012," Omar added.
