BJP activist shot dead, minor daughter injured

A 30-year-old BJP activist from Chandameta Municipality was today shot dead and his daughter sustained bullet injuries, near here, police said.
  
The incident took place when Dilip Bhargava in a motorbike was going to Chandameta locality from his village Badqi to drop his daughter Mona (5) in a school, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Amit Sanghi said.
  
Some unidentified persons opened fire at Bhargava killing him on the spot and injuring his daughter, he added.
  
Mona has been admitted in a hospital, the ASP said, adding that investigation were on.
