Bhagat Singh remembered on his 102 birth anniversary

Youth organisations today organised rallies here to commemorate the 102 birth anniversary of martyr Bhagat Singh.

The Punjab units of All India Youth Federation and All India Students Federation announced the launch of the third phase of "Rozgar Prapti Muhimm (Movement to secure employment), to mark the day, a release said.

During a function at the memorial, the groups demanded that the government provide employment to every unemployed youth.

Bhagat Singh, born on this day in 1907, was hanged on March 23, 1931 at the age of 23 by the colonial rulers.
