PDP on Tuesday asked Sports Minister Ajay Maken and BCCI to probe the multi-crore rupee scam in Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) headed by Union Minister Farooq Abdullah and provided what it termed documentary evidence before the media.

"We have already demanded CBI probe into JKCA scam. But we urge the Sports Minister of India and BCCI to probe the scam", former Deputy Chief Minister and senior PDP leader Muzafar Hussain Baig told reporters here.

Showing to mediapersons documents, bank statements and other letters purportedly connected with JKCA scam, Baig said "Chief Minister Omar Abdullah should refer the case to CBI.

If our (Ghulam Nabi Azad-led) government can refer a case (Kashmir sex scandal) to CBI and Omar government referred the unfair means case against former Congress Minister GM Saroori to CBI, why not the case of his father"?

"If CBI can probe A Raja and Kalmadi, Farooq is not a holy cow", Baig said and charged the state government with destroying evidence collected from the houses of Ehasan Mirza and Shabir Khan whose houses were raided by the police after registration of case by JKCA on March 10.

Hundreds of cheques have been drawn in violation of the bank rules, three accounts were opened and they were not reflected in the bank statements and audits of the JKCA anywhere during all these years, he alleged.
