Bangalore blast accused Abdul Nasser Madani taken to Hosathota

Madani was being interrogated in Madiwala police station after being brought to Bangalore from Kerala where he was arrested on August 17.

People's Democratic Party leader Abdul Nasser Madani,one of the accused in 2008 bomb serial blasts, was taken to Hosathota in Somwarpet Taluk in Kodagu district for further investigation today, a top police official said.

"Madani has been taken to Hosathota in Somwarpet taluk in Kodagu district for further investigation since the conspiracy for the serial blasts was hatched in Bangalore", joint commissioner of crime Alok Kumar told PTI.

Madani was being interrogated in Madiwala police station after being brought to Bangalore from Kerala where he was arrested on August 17.

Karnataka high court had on August 18 reserved its orders on a criminal petition filed by Madani praying for quashing of charge sheet filed against him by police in connection with the blasts.
