APMCC asks Omar Abdullah names of leaders who lobbied against shrine bill

The chief minister on Thursday had said certain leaders from the Hindu community were against the passage of shrine bill.

All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) today asked Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah to name leaders from Hindu community who have lobbied against the passage of Temples and Shrines Bill.

"Omar Abdullah should not throw up vague statements and instead divulge the names. He must expose the black sheep if any," chairman of APMCC Vinod Pandit said.

The Chief Minister on Thursday had said certain leaders from the Hindu community were against the passage of Shrine Bill. Pandit claimed 99% Hindus are in favour of the bill.
