Andhra Pradesh chief minister K Rosaiah has directed top officials to conduct a thorough investigation into the blast at Dachepalli in Guntur district that killed 15 persons besides leaving about 20 people wounded today.
Rosaiah, who hails from the same district, called up Guntur collector P Ramanjaneyulu and superintendent of police Sankhabrata Bagchi to enquire about the incident, according to the chief minister's office.
Meanwhile, state director general of police RR Girish Kumar told PTI that a detailed enquiry has been ordered into the blast. "It's a grave incident and we shall conduct a thorough probe into it," the DGP added.
