A 15-year-old student attacked his 17-year-old senior on Monday. This is the third such incident that has been reported in the last one month.

In yet another case of violence among school kids in eastern part of the city, a 15-year-old student attacked his 17-year-old senior on Monday. This is the third such incident that has been reported in the last one month.
At 7:30am on Monday, Sachin Bharwad, a class XII student was walking near Shanti Niketan School in Amraiwadi area when he was attacked by Mahesh (name changed). Mahesh began arguing with Sachin that the latter was after his sister and used to harass her.
Following heated exchanges, Mahesh, all of a sudden, took out a knife from his pocket and stabbed Sachin on his right leg. He was then taken to LG Hospital in an ambulance called by other students who were witness to the whole scuffle. After learning about the incident from hospital officials, Amraiwadi police lodged a compliant of assault against Mahesh, based on Sachin's statement.
On 30th September, a Class V student of Amraiwadi area was stabbed by a Class VI student as he used to beat him in the school. In the same month, a school-going teen stabbed his classmate over a minor issue in Odhav area.
