Ahmedabad's cramped court

The special courts created in the old high court building at Income Tax roundabout lacks in infrastructure. The three special courts dealing with post-Godhra riot cases at old high court building would become operational soon, but they may be ill equipped to provide proper sitting facilities to the witnesses and accused. In most of the cases, number of the accused and witness is high, but the 20X10 feet building has sitting arrangement for very few people. For example, the sources said, in Gulberg society carnage alone there are 70 accused and if there is one witness for each accused, it would be difficult to make sitting arrangement for all present.
