Delhi Police today claimed to have seized over 30,000 pirated CDs and DVDs of latest Bollywood films with the arrest of two persons.
The seizure was made following a raid in a shop in Lajpat Rai Market on Monday following a tip-off from a company that two persons were involved in illegal business of manufacturing and selling DVDs, VCDs, CDs and fake inlay cards in the capital.
The arrested have been identified as Abhay Kumar Jain (38) and Sarfaraz (26).
Over 30,000 CDs, DVDs, MP3 and VCD's of latest English and Hindi movies, including Tees Mar Khan, Toonpur Ka Super Hero, Golmaal 3, Isi Life Mein, were recovered.
A case under the appropriate sections of the law was registered and both the accused persons were arrested.
Interrogation of the arrested duo revealed that pirated materials were provided to them by another person at Lajpat Rai Market itself.
