2G scam: Court seeks day-to-day health report of Reliance ADAG honcho

A special CBI court trying the 2G scam case today directed Tihar Jail Superintendent to give it day-to-day report on the health condition of Reliance ADA group president Surendra Pipara arrested for his alleged role in the 2G scam case.

Special Judge OP Saini sought day-to-day report of Pipara's health condition as he had suffered an asthmatic attack in the Patiala House court room while attending the hearing there on April 4 and had to be taken to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. He was later shifted to AIIMS.

"A copy of this order be sent to Jail Superintendent with the direction to report about the condition of accused Surendra Pipara on a day-to-day basis," CBI special judge O P Saini said.
