Likening the court order in the 2G spectrum case to that of the Indian cricket team winning a T-20 match after several defeats, BJP leader LK Advani on Monday said the Congress party's reaction to the verdict showed as if a big achievement had been made.

"The manner in which the celebrations are being made, it seems that a big achievement has been made," he told reporters in Lucknow.

"I am surprised why they (Congressmen) are jumping at the trial court order. Never in the history of the country, 122 licences have been cancelled," Advani said.

The BJP veteran compared the trial court's verdict with that of the Indian cricket team's performance in Australia.

"I am of the view that this achievement is like India winning a 20-20 match after conceding defeat one after another," he said.

It was up to the court to decide whether only former Telecom Minister A Raja was guilty or he had some accomplices who needed to be put on trial, Advani said.

"It is up to the court to decide and I have faith in it," he said.
