16-year-old girl raped in Firozabad

A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Tundla area, police said today.

The girl was enticed from new Tilak Nagar locality by Saurabh Jain on April 1 and was taken to Marsalganj village where the youth raped her, station officer RP Singh said.

When the victim's family members, who had gone out of station, returned she narrated the incident after which a complaint was lodged with superintendent of police Manjila Saini yesterday.

Saurabh had been arrested and medical examination of the girl would be conducted soon, the SO said.
