13 tonnes ganja seized in Bihar

'Within last 48 hours, total seizure of ganja is 13 tonnes which is the largest in India so far, according to National Crime Bureau sources," director general of police Neelmani said.

In the largest ever haul in India, Bihar police today claimed to have seized 13 tonnes of contraband ganja worth several crores of rupees and arrested 14 persons in this connection.

"Within last 48 hours, total seizure of ganja is 13 tonnes which is the largest in India so far, according to National Crime Bureau sources," director general of police Neelmani told PTI.

He said 14 persons were arrested in connection with the seizure during raids conducted by special police team led by AJ Yadav at different places in Bhojpur district.
