Woman alleges sexual harassment against senior official

A woman employee at a private institute here has alleged that a senior official there had asked for sexual favours in return for offering her money and promotion, police said.

The victim, who is married and in her 30s, filed a complaint yesterday, against the official of the institute claiming that the man sought sexual favours from her.

A case under section 354 A, and 354 D for a demand or request for sexual favours was registered against the official, and probe was on, SHO, Sanganer, Sadar Manoj Gupta said.
The official could not be contacted for comment.
