Voters trust women politicians more: Margaret Alva

Margaret Alva has been a politician for almost 50 years. She has been a key member of the Congress party, since 1969 and has served several terms as a Union Minister and state Governor. 

In a special interview, Alva has a frank discussion about being a woman in politics, her father-in-law's influence on her and her high-profile falling out with Sonia Gandhi in 2008. 

She reflects on the struggles of being a woman politician during her start and now and discusses the urgent need for introspection within the Congress.

In her experience, Alva shares her views on why voters trust women politicians more.
