Under the ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ (Government at your doorstep) programme launched by the Vasundhara Raje government in the state, the Cabinet ministers will be touring districts and reviewing works of their respective departments from February 14 to February 16 in Bharatpur. After touring the districts, the ministers would give their feedback at the Cabinet meeting in Bharatpur on February 18. Notably, decisions in public interest would be taken based on feedback by the ministers.
As per the details, four groups of ministers have been made who will be visiting all four districts under the Bharatpur division. The first group consisting of ministers Gulab Chand Kataria, Kalicharan Saraf and Hem Singh Bhadana would be touring Bharatpur while the other group comprising Sanwarlal Jat, Gajendra Singh and Ajay Singh would be visiting Karauli.
Ministers Rajendra Singh Rathore and Arun Chaturvedi would be taking the feedback from Dholpur district. The fourth group including ministers Nandlal Meena, Yunus Khan and Prabhulal Saini would tour Sawai Madhopur.
Notably, chief minister Vasundhara Raje and Cabinet ministers are on Bharatpur tour in connection with the first Jansunwai slated to begin in the district on February 17 and February 18. Raje has termed the programme as a unique measure means to imbibe trust among the people of the state. She also reiterated that the state government is a government of the people, by the people and for the public. She held a meeting of the preparations of the said programme on Sunday.
In her address at the meet, Raje told ministers and officials present there she has seen the problems of the people closely during her Suraaj Sankalp Yatra in the state and the said programme is an attempt to alleviate those problems. The meeting to review the preparations of the Jansunwai and the ‘Government at your doorstep’ campaign was held at the Collectorate in Bharatpur.
