The members of Bajrang Dal on Wednesday created a ruckus at a mall in Hyderabad opposing the celebration of Valentines Day.

In a video, some members of Bajrang Dal can be seen entering Hyderabad's Manjeera Mall and removing heart-shaped balloons.

Bajrang Dal members, in various parts of the city, also staged a protest.

The Hindu outfit has also approached the pubs and restaurants in Hyderabad, asking them to boycott Valentine's Day celebrations.

Such incidents of moral policing by the right-wing outfit on this day are reported every year.

Meanwhile, In Ahmedabad, nearly 10 activists of the VHP and its affiliate Bajrang Dal were detained after they allegedly tried to chase away young couples who had gathered at the Sabarmati Riverfront.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) claimed it only asked the couples to leave the spot, a popular hangout place for youngsters, and that its members did not attack anyone.

In some videos recorded by passers-by purportedly of the incident, several people carrying saffron flags and wielding sticks could be seen threating couples to leave the spot.

Whereas, in Karnataka, the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) organised wedding of a goat and a sheep in Bengaluru in support of Valentine's Day.

"We should not object to Valentine's Day because love does not have any community or caste. The Central government should declare one-day holiday for love and the state government should give Rs 50,000 to one lakh to any couple who gets married for love," a member said.
