Delhi Police nabbed a third man suspected to have been involved in the gangrape-cum-robbery of a 51-year-old Danish tourist in the national capital two days ago, officials said on Thursday.

Raju alias Bajji, 25, was arrested on Thursday afternoon near Nizamuddiun Railway Station in south Delhi, police told IANS, adding: "He is a vagabond of Paharganj area."

Bajji was among eight people who raped the 51-year-old Danish tourist at knife-point near New Delhi Railway Station, after she sought directions to her hotel in Paharganj.

Two men arrested earlier have been remanded in police custody till January 20. Five other attackers are on the run, police said.

According to police, six teams have been formed to search for the other five accused.

"The teams have been sent to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana and Maharashtra in search of the other five accused. All five absconding men have been identified, and will be arrested soon," a police officer said.

Police had said that all the accused were vagabonds, who took the woman tourist to an isolated spot near the Divisional Railway Officers' Club close to New Delhi Railway Station. They stole her belongings and then raped her.

Three hours after being assaulted by the men, the woman managed to reach her hotel. She was "highly traumatised" when she approached the police.
