Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Udayveer Singh, who is said to be close to UP CM Akhilesh Yadav has accused Mulayam Singh's second wife Sadhna of having ill will against her stepson Akhilesh Yadav and targeting him, reports IANS. He also said that black magic was used to harm him.
He also said that Sadhna and Shivpal Yadav were in cahoots to bring down Akhilesh. He added that Yadav was jealous of CM's popularity.
The first-time MLC also said that Mulayam Singh should step down and let Akhilesh take charge.
Singh wrote all this in a private letter addressed to Mulayam Singh, but it was leaked.
Udayveer Singh said that he was expressing his views which he believed many in the party also agreed with it.
SP leader Ashu Malik said that Singh's letter was not "even worth 500 votes" and that "any attempt to humiliate Netaji (Mulayam Singh) will not be tolerated."
