SSC CHSL tier 1 Results declared, check ssc.nic.in and ssconline.nic.in

Finally the wait is over. The results for the SSC CHSL tier 1 exam have been declared. A total of 63 lakh candidates had registered for the exam but only 23 lakh students took the test. The results have been announced on the official websites.

Finally the wait is over. The results for the SSC CHSL tier 1 exam has been declared. A total of 63 lakh candidates had registered for the exam but only 23 lakh students took the test. The results have been announced on the official websites.
 
The exams were held this year in the month of March from 4th of Match till 28th march, 2018. SSC CHSL tier 2 exam will be held in the July 2018 and will be pen paper based.
 
The exam will be a descriptive paper and will carry 100 marks in total. Candidates will be allowed 60 and paper would comprise writing of an Essay of 200-250 words and Letter/ Application of approximately 150-200 words. The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II would be 33 per cent.
 
Meanwhile, a total of 323 candidates have been recommended by the Commission for appointment after the declaration of the Combined Recruitment of Junior Hindi Translators, Junior Translators, Senior Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak Examination 2017 (Paper-II). 
 
The SSC CHSL 2016 final result was declared this year in February and a total of 53201 candidates had qualified out of 057993 examinees. The overall pass percentage was 1.74%. 
 
A total of 3259 vacancies are open for recruitment this year. The SSC CHSL exam is held every year to select the candidates to the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operator.

1. Go to the official website ssc.nic.in and ssconline.nic.in.
 
2. Click on ‘Results’
 
3. Click on the link for CHSL results
 
4. You will be directed to a login page
 
5. Key in your roll number/registration number and registration password after selecting the exam
 
6. Result will be displayed on the screen
 
7. Take a printout
