PM Modi to visit Rajasthan on Mar 8 for Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao

Prime minister Narendra Modi will be coming to Jhunjhunu on March 8. A meeting was conducted on Saturday in the secretariat, which was chaired by chief secretary NC Goel, to review the preparations for the visit of the Prime Minister.

Modi is coming to give a push to Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Abhiyan and on this day, National Nutrition Mission will also be started.

In the meeting, Rakesh Shrivastava, secretary of Union Women and Child Development Ministry was also present. Shrivastava is a Rajasthan cadre IAS officer and has spent considerable time in the state. Apart from him, along with other officials, collector and superintendent of police of Jhunjhunu were also present.

PK Goyal, principal secretary of general administration department (GAD), informed the officials about the agenda of Modi’s visit and apprised the other departments of the responsibilities they will have to share during the preparations and at the time of the visit of the prime minister.
