After setting development as the agenda and priority of his government in its first Cabinet meeting on April 4, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath promised to provide a corruption-free governance after holding his second Cabinet meeting on Tuesday (in pic).
After a three-hour long Cabinet meeting, Yogi made it clear that laxity and lethargy in work, and corruption would not be tolerated anymore. “Those who are ready to work hard with honesty are welcome, others may submit their resignations,” he warned.
Yogi also laid emphasis on improving infrastructure within the shortest possible time to speed up industrial growth. Thrust would be laid on the agricultural sector for overall economic growth.
Briefing mediapersons on Yogi’s second Cabinet meeting, BJP spokesman Siddharth Nath Singh said that the Cabinet has ordered a probe of all 29 development authorities in the state and approved audit by the Comptroller and Auditor General on all development projects.
