In a shocking incident, a two-year-old girl has died in Kolkata after being pushed into a hot water pot.
Ultadanga resident Dipanwita Bhuniya, who was in NRS hospital for last five days with 75% burn finally succumbed to death on Saturday early morning. He was pushed into a boiling water pot where rice was being cooked on 14th August. The argument was regarding paying rent between landlord Sushen Bhuniya and tenant Rajkumari Shaw.
According to Sushen, Rajkumari hasn't been paying rent for a long time and was slowly trying to occupy the entire house. There used to be frequent arguments between them regarding this issue. Things went completely south on 14th however when Rajkumari Shaw pushed Dipanwita into the hot water bowl. At that time, aloof to all the issues, Dipanwita who was two years and 10 months old was playing in the courtyard.
According to doctors, Dipanwita couldn't withstand the shock of the incident. She was badly burnt and despite best efforts of the doctors in Kolkata's NRS hospital, the little girl couldn't be revived.
