It appears that the craze in attempting the Kiki Challenge hasn’t ended. For those who aren’t well-versed with the trend, the challenge involves people stepping out of a slow moving car, and grooving to a song by Canadian artiste Drake with the opening lines, “Kiki, do you love me?” Performers are seen grooving to the song, at the risk of causing a road accident.

The trend, which picked up in India last week, had prompted Mumbai police, Delhi police, Bengaluru police, UP police, and Jaipur police to issue advisories to people to not engage in such dangerous activities. On Wednesday, the Vadodara police in Gujarat were the latest to warn people. Their warning comes after a woman, reportedly the mother of comedian Aamir Mir, is seen doing a few steps.

“Vadodara city police appeals to the public to not accept the Kiki Challenge as it is very dangerous for you and people around you,” said Vimal Gamit, PRO Vadodara Police while speaking to ANI.

The 20-second video has the woman dancing to the song, and when cars begin honking behind her, she yells at the motorists. However, while speaking to news channel ABP Gujarati, the woman claims she did the video to promote road safety.

Celebrities like Nia Sharma, Nora Fatehi, Adah Sharma, Priyank Sharma, Kushal Tandon, Bhumika Gurung and Karishma Sharma posted videos on their social media handles where they can all be seen performing the challenge in their own unique styles.

However, police across have issued a warning against taking part in the Kiki challenge after several people were injured while performing the act.

Delhi Police had issued directives against #KikiChallenge and urged everyone to dance on the floor rather than the roads. "Dance on the floors, not on the roads! #KikiChallenge is not worth the fun. #InMyFeelings Keep #Delhi roads safe for all," Delhi Police posted on Twitter.

Mumbai Police was definitely not amused and urged everyone on Twitter to refrain taking part in such a 'nuisance' challenge. "Not just a risk for you but your act can put life of others at risk too. Desist from public nuisance or face the music! DanceYourWayToSafety #InMySafetyFeelingsChallenge," Mumbai Police tweeted.
